Do Your Clothes Take Longer than 40 minutes to dry? More than one cycle? Is the dryer hot to the touch, but the clothes are still wet?
Then the problem is not your dryer, but the dryer duct needs to be cleaned.
My name is Steve Brister and we will come to your home or business to clean out your dryer vent. I am a Certified Dryer Duct Cleaner and dryer vent cleaning is all we do.
I have a BSE college degree and was often on the dean's list. Just as I applied myself in college, I make sure the job is done with the same effort and excellence. My experience and desire in doing a good job, results in a clean and more efficient dryer duct system.
I base my life on what Jesus taught. What that means to me is that I will make sure your problem will be our problem until your dryer duct is functioning at its best.
Look around and see our reviews from other customers and you will have the assurance that you will have a great experience as we clean or repair your dryer duct.

Damage your clothes
Damage your dryer

Disrupt your life
Cleaning out the lint trap is the most important thing a home owner/renter can do. But the duct can often be 15-50 feet long. This reduces air flow and lint cannot exhaust from the termination duct efficiently. Dryer ducts in today's homes are not like the old style homes where the dryer duct was on the outside wall. If you happen to be a lucky person with a duct less than 3 feet long, you probably will never need to call me.
How often should my dryer vent be cleaned?
IT DEPENDS ON:
1. How many loads you do and what kind of things you wash. (towels and diapers are the worst)
2. How many elbows are in the dryer duct.
3. The length of the dryer vent.
Clean out your vent when the dryer is taking too long to dry. If you are not sure it is the dryer or the dryer vent, take the duct off the wall and place a nylon stocking on the exhaust hole from your dryer to catch the lint. If you can dry the clothes with ease, then the duct needs to be cleaned.
Some vents may need cleaning every 6 months or less and some vents might not need cleaning for 5 years or more. I have cleaned dryer ducts after one year that looked like they had just been cleaned. I also have cleaned certain dryer vents after 3 months that were in desperate need of cleaning.
Why does my dryer duct need cleaning so often?
As the dryer vent ages, it often starts rusting from the inside or at least corroding which catches the lint easier than a slick venting duct. Also, if it is a long vent with elbows the reduced air flow causes the lint to settle which causes an even greater reduction in air flow. Elbows and joints seem to be the worst for catching lint.
Why does cleaning the dryer vent help my drying time?
Can you imagine drying your hair with a blow dryer that has a broken blower motor (no air flow) ? You pass the nozzle over your head with only the heat generated by the heating element. How quickly do you think your hair would dry?
The dryer needs air flow in the dryer passing over your clothes to dry your clothes just as your hair needs air blowing across your head for quick drying.
What is the benefit of hiring a CDET?
Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians must take a test that shows their knowledge about the dryer duct and the dryer venting process. CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) has a program to show that I have the ability to clean, repair and diagnose problems with the dryer vent. Not only do I know dryer vents, my number one aim is not to make money, but to make your life better by satisfying your dryer venting needs.
Being certified is not why I am quallified. Years of experience day in and day out makes me a leader in knowing what is going on with your dryer vent and what it takes to clean it properly.
We go on TV every few years to educate the public on dryer vents. This was on Oct 2013.
